This is a great way to visit the world famous Monteverde Cloud Forest in one day without the long, bone jarring drives around the lake.  You’ll be picked up at your hotel at 7:00 am and taken by bus to Lake Arenal where a boat will be waiting to take you across the lake to Rio Chiquito.  From there a jeep will take you on a picturesque drive to Monteverde.  Here you will have the choice of doing either the Canopy Tour or the Hanging bridges at Selvatura Park, followed by lunch and a visit to the Hummingbirds garden, the butterfly farm or the insect museum where you will be able to see some of the flora and fauna indigenous to the area.  From here you will return to La Fortuna with memories you won’t soon forget.
